CARTOONS FOR WEB AND MOBILE INTERFACES
In this project, my GOAL was to create a cohesive set of interface illustrations that can stand out from the typical corporate illustration style commonly used in web and mobile interfaces.
The set covers the most essential topics for digital products, such as delivery, success, deadlines, communication, finance, etc. It also explores solar energy, safety, and ecology.
SOLUTION
I incorporated animation principles into the static illustrations to create dynamic, playful, emotionally expressive graphics that stand out. Each familiar and symbolic object becomes a living emotional character. I personally can't help but give all of them a little voiceover in my head :)
I worked on this set for icons8.com library of customizable illustrations, and arranged PSD files accordingly. The high quality textures are available as an addition to the set and can be customized and used for your app or website.
PIVOT
After feedback I moved from funny doodles with string-legged characters to the sharper, cartoonish style. Doodles are emotional and capture attention, and found their place in the client’s library, but doodle style is too niche for a big set.
I save time and money on creativity by turning requests, ideas, and desires into unique content that distinguishes the brand from competitors in any market.
